Date and Time: Feb. 19th at 5:30 PM
Location: Clover Creek Clubhouse
Objective: To help transition those tiers moving from the Beginning class to the Intermediate class .
What to bring:
At this session we will be tying two “soft hackle” flies. One will be a “Hair’s Ear Flymph”, a Jim Leisenring pattern. The second will be a Denny Richards “”All Purpose Emerger”. Please bring your tools and materials for this class. We will be using a size 12 dry fly hook for both patterns. The materials used are essential for many other patterns, so these materials should be part of your tying inventory. Re: The Flymph, red thread and wire , wire color of your choice, can be substituted. The soft hackle fly pattern has a long and storied history, and we can discuss its many iterations at the meeting. The program will last a minimum of 1 hour.
Benson Kanemoto and Rodney Cloutier will be helping with this session, so don’t miss it.
