FLY WE’RE TYING: Mercer’s Micro May. Openthevideo of the flyby clicking on the highlightedblue name of the fly above. Not all flies are tied the same with the materials and color as the video may show. We may substitute based on availability of materials.
LOCATION/TIME: Our Clubhouse at 3100 Venus Way off Shasta View Dr. South of Hartnell Ave. at Clover Creek Preserve. Front door unlocked at 5:30 pm, class starts at 6:30.
BEAD:Copper tungsten in 3/32
HOOK & SIZE: Size #16 using TMC 2457, TMC 2488 or TMC 921 hook.
THREAD COLOR: Olive, thread in 8/0 or #70. (You supply thread)
ITEMS NEEDED FOR THIS CLASS: Students will need to bring a vice,tools & thread. You need to bring a Lint Roller, Zap-A Gap Magic Rub eraser (see picture)↑UV light, thick UV glue, ,
PLEASE REPLY BACK TO THIS EMAIL TO ATTEND THE CLASS. When you email me, your Fly Tying Packet will be reserved. If you come to class and have not emailed me to reserve a spot in the class, I might not have enough fly tying packets. THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS, EMAIL SOON TO RESERVE A SPOT!
COST FOR CLASS: This class is $5.00 for the fly packet, which includes enough material to do 5-7 flies, and sometimes extra material for more.
