If you plan on attending this class on Saturday, October 19th at Hat Creek Park …just off highway 299. Hat Creek Park is approximately 67 miles from Redding…. with a drive time of about 1 hour and 20 minutes. The park entrance is immediately on your left with a short driveway into the parking area. If you drive over Hat Creek, you have gone too far. Plan to arrive at the park no later than 9:30AM

This will be an all day session..so bring a lunch and drinks. * Every participant will need the following gear:
This is a rain or shine event…so bring appropriate clothing and keep in mind the morning temperatures may be chilly. * Waders or hip boots ( also a wading staff is suggested) * A fly rod and reel with floating fly line [ a 9ft 4.5 or 6 wgt..or a longer rod is also fine] A 7-1/2 foot 3x tapered leader A spool of 4x tippet Nippers A strike indicator plus a spare Forceps or pliers Polaroid sun glasses
