This month's presentation will be by Jason Atkinson on the Klamath River dam removal and restoration project. He’s been involved with the project since its inception and will answer your questions both pro and con. He made a film called “A River Between Us” about the long process of getting approval for the dams’ removal.

Who We Are

We are a Fly Fishers International (FFI) affiliated fly fishing club located in Redding, CA. The club is dedicated to the art and science of fly fishing. We work toward preservation of the North State's world class fisheries and watersheds by participating in, and donations to, habitat restoration projects with the DFW, the Fly Fishers International and Trout Unlimited. Shasta Trinity Fly Fishers provide our members and the community the opportunity to learn and improve their fly fishing skills through educational opportunities, regular fly fishing outings, and events designed to develop friendships among other passionate Fly Fishers.

To advance, promote and teach the art and science of fly fishing through education, stressing the techniques and ethics of fly fishing and "catch and release".
